It's My Turn to "Pay it Forward"

I have been lucky enough to win TWO
"Pay it Forward" gifts.
Let me tell you, these girls do not disappoint. Thanks COCO for the custom cards, napkin holder, napkins, and Christmas Dishtowel.

Thanks ALIFINALE for a custom Christmas CD and scarf. I seriously scored!
I really appreciate the tribute to Christmas in the gifts I received. I love this season and I am looking forward to all the movies and music. There is a station in Chicago already playing Christmas music...I sneak a listen when I am in the mood.

Did I tell you I met Ali? Such a fantastic girl to know. I will post about it a little later this week.

Back to Business...

What is "Pay it Forward" you ask? Well, I will pick 3 comments from this post and send the 3 winners something homemade or fun from me. Someone started it on their blog way back when. It is a fantastic idea and I can't wait to mail my fun gift to you. So start commenting!!!

I would like to pay it forward to 3 of my readers/friends/family. So please leave me a comment so I can "Pay it Forward" to you. And in your comment leave a little note including a favorite Christmas Song and/or movie. I will consider comments until Friday the 16th.

If you are chosen, you will be contractually obligated to pay it forward via your blog. But it can be whatever you choose...homemade or not. I think I am sending a box of favorite things.

Just do it!

What a FUN idea! You know I was thinking of making a Christmas Cd for December for our monthly cd exchange. I like so many Christmas songs. Some of my favorites are Blue Christmas (Elvis), White Christmas (love to sing this with my sisters), Mary did you know?, Who would imagine a King (Whitney Houston), Still, Still Still (we sang it in my highschool choir), Angels we have Heard on High, ok see, my list can go on and on! As far as Christmas movies, Home Alone 1 and 2, I'll I want for Christmas, How the Grinch stole Christmas, WHITE CHRISTMAS -(my fav!!) Christmas with the Kranks, and i enjoy all the childrens classics too, Rudolph, Frosty, Little Drummer Boy, etc. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas!!! Oh, and we have this WONDERFUL Hawaiian Christmas CD that we listen too...ok have a listed enough!?!?! hahaha!

Hi again - Anne L.'s sister in law here.

Favorite Christmas song: Mary's Lullaby. If you've never heard it, you'd love it. It's so beautiful, I can barely hear the lyrics without tearing up. I first sang it when my oldest son was just born, and I could hardly make it through the song. It's lovely.

My FAVORITE Christmas songs are all the songs on the "Karen Carpenter Christmas Portrait" cd.
They make me feel nostalgic and put me in the holiday mood!! I have a notion that your "pay it forward" gifts would be FAB!!

I forgot to tell you my favorite Christmas songs...well my fun choice would be Mariah Carey singing "I'll I Want for Christmas is You"...love that one...remember when we were running in our own 5K (you me and Sarah were the only runners) and we called it "The Turkey Trot" and we were listening to this while we were running? That was fun...anyhow my serious choice would be O Holy Night...now will you pick me?

oh I love Mary's lullaby too and I know what she means about not being able to make it through with out tearing up. I also wanted to add that Marlee loves to watch the Mo-Tab Christmas Specials. She has gotten a new DVD from Santa (grandma) every Christmas so far... Ok I am just a little obsessed with Christmas. ; )

Okay....so I know that I'm a little late but I have to at least post my favorite Christmas song. So, lately I've been really liking 'The Christmas song' by Dave Matthews, but as for my classic I love anything from Bing Crosby oh, but I cannot forget anything from Harry Connick. I just love Christmas songs! :)
