My kids are pretty obsessed with TV. They love Backyardigans, Word World, Super Why, Clifford and Little Bill. I am not a stickler when it comes to TV. They watch a show when I take a shower. They will watch a show while I get a little cleaning done. Or even if I want to getting read my favorite book. I used to feel so guilty about it. Not anymore! What else can you really do? So, the other day I walked upstairs and found them in the guest room ...
The TV was on and they looked SO comfy!!

I am so happy to hear someone elses kids are obsessed with TV. Noah could watch 2 hours straight if I let him. I try to break it up.
That is nice that your kids can go upstairs together and watch TV, there are some days I won't let him watch something because I can't handle the music.
Hey that's my room!!
I also let Little L watch Backyardigans every day.
Oh they look so cute!
I love the TV - I do try to not let her watch it ALL day long, but man is it a lifesaver sometimes. That is so cute that they were snuggled up watching a show. I love it.
My kids wont watch tv for anything. I would give my left arm to have them be couch potatoes. I am the constant entertainment at our house.....and I'm tired!
I've also got a little guy that just has no interest in TV....and I have tried to interest him. Enjoy the quiet time it gives you...and they are oh so cute!
that is my favorite story about your twinnies! So, so, so cute!
CUTE bedding in that pic! your kids are darling. I think there is nothing wrong with Backyardigans, Little Einsteins... they are fun, wholesome, musical shows!
and - cute header on your blog! love the simplicity.
That is adorable!!!
That is sooo CUTE! Thanks for sharing!
So cute! I figure all the TV right now will even out with the seasons because if and when it warms up again, they want to play outside all the time!
Aunite Amber says there is nothing wrong with a couple of hours of TV a day. I figure if it helps me keep my sanity...it is then HEALHY for the kids so I don't spank them all day long...which I have been know to do, except all they do is laugh. STINKERS!
so nice to know someone else isn't crazy over limiting their kid's tv time. i feel like i need to justify it to so many people, but honestly i feel like my kids learn so much from it (especially little einstiens). and if it's what makes them happy, then that's great with me!
Hey no worries - that's how I take my showers too! Since we moved we lost cable though - so I think Trev is starting to get tired of the PBS specials. I don't think there is anything wrong with a few shows a day!
